On Thursday, May 21, 2026, Ms. Van Genne, Principal of the EELM, and Ms. Duchesne, Assistant Director in charge of Preschool and Elementary Education, were invited to the Élysée Palace to attend a reception held to express gratitude for the European Union Customs Authority being awarded to Lille.
On this occasion, the Superintendent of the Lille School District had the honor of introducing them to Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
