Back to School 2025 – Information and supplies lists

On this page you will find all the information for the start of the new school year in September 2025.

For primary school pupils :

On the first day of school, Monday 1 September, you will have the opportunity to meet the teachers. Here is how we propose to organise the first day of school :

From 8.15am to 8.45am : Reception of families for P1 and P3 Anglophone and Francophone pupils. Parents can accompany their child to the classroom to help them settle in and meet the teacher. Entrance is via the main gate at 116 rue Charcot in Marcq en Baroeul.
From 8.30am to 9.00am: Reception of families for English and French-speaking P2, P4 and P5 pupils. Parents may accompany their child to the classroom to help them settle in and meet the teacher. Entrance is via the main gate at 116 rue Charcot in Marcq en Baroeul.

On the other days of the week, parents will drop their child off at the school gate at 8.15am, and your child will go to his or her class alone with the teacher. An adult from the school will meet your child in the corridor of the primary buildings.

At lunchtime and in the evening, children picked up by their families will be taken to the gate by the teachers. Parents will not enter the school grounds. The school will, of course, remain open to parents on an individual basis as and when required. For children going to the garderie, please ring the bell to collect your child.

For nursery school pupils :

On the first day of school, Monday 1 September, you will have the opportunity to meet the teachers. Here is how we propose to organise the first day of school

In order to make the start of the new school year as stress-free as possible for our nursery pupils and their families, we would like to organise a staggered reception of pupils in small groups.

In concrete terms, we propose to welcome your children in groups of 8.

The first group will arrive at 8.30 a.m. and parents will be allowed to stay in the classroom for 30 minutes to facilitate separation and get to know the teacher.

A second group of children will arrive at 9am,

And finally the third group at 9.30am.

The nursery teaching assistant will look after the first group in an adjoining classroom from 9am to 9.30am, then the second group from 9.30am to 10am. At 10 a.m., the pupils meet up with the teacher in the classroom.

We invite you to take part in the survey that will be sent out by email at the beginning of July so that we can set up this organisation.
